Notice of vacancy on Lawford Parish Council

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy has arisen in the office parish councillor for Lawford Parish Council arising from the resignation of Mark Naylor.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if notice in writing of a request for such an election is made by 10 Local Government electors for the electoral area* and received by the Returning Officer, Tendring District Council, by no later than 5pm on Monday 26 October 2026.

If an election is not requested by 10 Local Government electors as aforesaid the vacancy will be filled by the parish council as soon as practicable after the expiry of the date referred to above.
